The Fun They had» by Isaac Asimov
The story is about a girl, named Margie and brother, named Tommy. They were studying at home, they didn’t have any books, everything was automatic. Once they found a book of old times. It was the book of their grandfather’s grandfather. It was yellow and crinkly. When they opened it, they read and knew that it was about how people studied many years ago, how they had fun with their classmates.
Here the author wants to explain us that school is very important to study, communicate with people. He brought example of their ancestors who went to school with great pleasure, who had fun with their friends.
I think that the most interesting and unforgettable time is our school time, where we can make friends, understand who are the real ones and who are the fakes. Also we get the knowledge, which will be helpful for us in the future.
